A reader named Diane (a/k/a The Library Lady) learned about my book-reading addiction here. Since she's a librarian she sent me some information about the small library where she works in Florida, as well as this sweet book mark that I use constantly.
That is definitely me ... the card reads, "Have you ever seen her without a book?" My family would definitely answer No!
As a thank you for her kindness, I sent her this red banner for the library ~
The wording was chosen by my little friend Allison when I asked what she thought would be a good saying for a library banner, using the word "read." Allison came up with a perfect idea, because reading is so relaxing!

That little banner is just perfect for a library and a librarian - and all of us who love to read. (I've found something else we have in common.)
ReplyDeleteOh I'm a big reader and get crazy if I don't have a book at all times! Love the bookmark and what a cute banner you made!
ReplyDeletehugs,
Linda
Won't she be excited when she receives your precious banner?

Hi Mary! Oh, how sweet of you and I'm sure she is going to like it.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,

Adorable! What a bright little girl Allison is! The library lady will love it. xo
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet gift to you and a sweet gift to her:) Love that banner and what it says really is true! Have a blessed week dear Mary, HUGS!
ReplyDeleteMary,
ReplyDeleteThank you for showing the bookmark. Sweet.
I am a true believer in this:
"The best and most beautiful things cannot be seen or touched - they must be felt with the heart ~ Helen Keller. I like to live my life like that. Everything I do - I do with a glad heart OR I don't do it. Enjoy! The banner is lovely. We have it hanging about a large doorway in our circulation area. Can't miss it.
Great Banner! I love to read and I always have a book with me...I feel "naked" if I don't have one when I go out LOL.
ReplyDeleteGreat banner! I should make one for my bookcase here at home!
